I have a tippmann SSL 2000 and since it works the same as a pinokio would I be able to buy a pinokio shell and put the internals from the SSL into it?

Someone did it with the spider version. I forget what his name was, but I remember he was Canadian, and also Asian. There's some modifications you need to make, but it's do-able.

The sypder fasta? And not without modification. If they worked the same they wouldn't be marketed differently.

Considering that, to my knowledge, the pinokio started off as a loader with a pod glued to the front, a Tippmann SSL can be made to function like a Pinokio, somehow. But you'll likely need to do some mods to the Pinokio shell.

why not just buy a used pinokio rather then butchering a SSL-2000 and a pinokio shell

That's a good point. Just a shell for a pinokio is going to cost almost as much as a used one.

Well obviously it would need some modification, but I was just wondering if I could do it.
