August 16th-18th will be dates for both NPPL Denver and the unconfirmed, but likely PSP MAO.
NPPL has confirmed they won't be moving any dates, PSP hasn't commented yet, but unlike a few years ago when this happend, most players aren't expecting PSP to budge either.

Seems like all the years of PSP vs. NPPL will boil down to this weekend and with recent news of multiple pro teams likely pulling out of NPPL, this could be the start of something bad for NPPL.

NPPL, duh.

Though I wish that were the case, 7 man semi is more fun than 5 man ramping.

I actually find 7-man a bit too slow paced, although I do prefer semi-auto play.

i found 7-man tournaments very dull to play and even watch.

i think saying one is more difficult than the other is a stupid thought, but i think 5-man ramping(x-ball style) puts the emphasis on the parts of the game that make it exciting for spectators and leaves the door open for fast paced, exciting games.

Definitely, just look at raw footage of matches. PSP is way more fun to watch. And 5 man ramp is a faster style of play.

Plus with PSP having PaintballAccess for the webcast, and all of the pro teams this year...
