I've always wanted a quest. I'm thinking about saving up to buy one. Do you know where I can buy one new? How much they are new also? Thanks.

Critical Paintball has them new. http://www.criticalp...Quest_s/200.htm

Although you can get them much lower used and sometimes with upgrades in them already. I believe there are two in the BST here on Techpb. Ebay has some and there are a few on PbNation as well.
Thanks

Finally got around to installing the Critical feedneck. It was sitting the drawer for a long time until I got the stock one off. It's...alright. I'm not entirely impressed with it. It looks good, but after reading the invoice, and seeing how much I paid for it, I'm a bit let down.

I'll see how it fares when I get into the snake like I usually do. I might write up a short review of it.
Gerber, Surefire, TOPS, and Cold Steel all suck the big one. Buy quality products, not junk. :-)

Given that there a very little aftermarket parts for the Quest....most of them are all preference anyways....a review on the Critical feedneck would be nice.

If you are interested in having it repaired hit up www.thirtyfirstpaintball.com Or you can just order parts from them and do it yourself. You can also get parts from paintballkingdom.com

I don't see why you can't be a follower so long as you stay active.

I wouldn't run the LPR any lower than 60. Not unless you really up the dwell. You aren't going to get much improvement on either kick or efficiency if you run it that low, and consistency can suffer. You might not notice it in warmer weather, but running it higher will still tighten up your groupings over the chronograph.

I agree with Sticktodrum, keep your LPR around 90-100...regardless if your using a Goldmember bolt or a Critical RSF.

All in all, the Quest shot great today. But, the one problem I was having was that after every 1,000 shots my shots would slowly drop off and then my bolt wouldnt cycle(bolt stick). But once I took the bolt out and lubed it, it would shoot great again. I bumped up my lpr to 110 at the end of the day. The bolt is brand new so maybe it needs to be worked in.

I've never used the Critical RSF so I'm not sure what's up with having to lube every 1,000 shots. What kind of lube are you using anyways?

I was using hater marmalade. When I originally got the problem I took it to the field owner, who used to own many quests, and he gave me some dow 33 to use. It worked alot better. But originally when using the mamralade I only got like 300 shots before the bolt stuck. But when I used the dow 33 it bumped it up to 1000 to 1200. Im playing next sunday so I will be using the dow 33 and Im gonna run my lpr at 110
