Half the people who say "Oh, get an Axe" have NEVER even touched/shot one... I don't give my opinion about a gun unless I've shot it!

^ yeah theres an axe fan

not really. i dont own an axe, none of my friends own axes, nor do i ever plan on owning an axe

i just plain hate the etek 3
thats all

Okay so heres a planet eclipse hater. Better?
And is it really necessary to recommend a gun you've never used or seen?

yes that is better

and who said i havent shot or seen one? ive shot / used them both on several occasions

and from my experiences i can say that in my opinion the axe is a better gun

Mostly preference, if you decide to get an axe make sure you hold it first, IMO it feels terrible in the hands, I like the feel of the etek but is it loud.

It all comes down to your preference, but in my opinion I like the Etek much more.

Yeah. The only thing is the damn pro shop is like 2 hours away. But its gonna be worth the drive. I have heard good and bad about both guns so I guess ima drive to the shop and see whats up. I honestly like the way the etek looks and the packaging it comes with.

Also I play speedball so i dont really care about its loudness and stuff.

It's all preference, honestly I'm getting tired of all the hype about the AXE. I like both, but if I had to choose I'd pick the Etek 3. The Etek comes from a great company, with good packaging and CS.

I swear all I hear about is the damn AXE.

So you don't care about a teammate trying to communicate with you?

Etek3 is like the Tippmann of the speedball markers. Reliable, loud, huge fanbase. Buy this marker if you don't like working on markers or don't have the time. Buy this marker if you like having a case come with it. Buy it if you are a huge PE fan. Or buy it because you prefer the looks.

If you want an all around better performer on the field, buy the Axe.

They both have great customer service btw. And the Axe is simple to work on.

It's not that loud, half my local team uses them. 3 of my friends have an etek, and not once have we had a communication problem.

Owned both. I like the Axe better.
The Etek 3 comes with a better case and more spare parts, but I found the trigger having more slop than what I wanted and it was loud. Oh, so very loud.
The Axe comes with less spare parts, but has a smoother shot and it's pretty quiet. Trigger feels much better IMHO (buyer beware, sometimes the magnets on the trigger can stick out if you adjust them to far out).
Other ergos is preference. Getting to the eyes on the Axe is a bitch.

I hope no gun is so loud i cant hear my team lol. Well I did research last night and I think im going with the Axe
1. Its got a smoother shot than the etek
2. I looked at mikes vid on both guns and he thinks the Axe is a better gun
3. Obviously is quieter lol
4. I tried it out a the shop and the eteks trigger is very loose. didnt like that.
Thanks for all the help guys. But in the end im going with the AXE!=)

The AXE is a good choice. The ergos may not be great, but the shot quality is pretty good.

they both have the same accuracy. both are great markers so its just a matter of what feels better in your hands,
