i think they want to add a new sport so they are going to get rid of one ... but i don't know why they don't just add one without deleting one ... not all of these sports were in the original olympics anyway, so just another one if thats what they want to do.

This is ridiculous, it's an ancient sport that perfectly fits in the olypmics. An olympic athlete is supposed to be pushed to the limits to succeed on a world wide level. It's almost as bad as taking running out because of the fact that you're taking away a heritage from the olympics compared to other sports. There's a reason it's lasted so long, because it's an amazing sport.
