i have a pmi trracer and it is leaking out the barrel. If i pump it the leak slows down alot, but still leaks. I do have a stiffer spring in there im thinking that could be a cause but im not sure

a stiffer main spring could defiantly cause it, run some oil through it dry firing and see if that clears it up though.

The leak is cause by the hammer resting on the cup seal. Take apart the back end and check the cup seal rod as that part can come loose from the seal cup. Also clean the seat and seal area.

not that i am aware of. it is fairly simple
make sure no air
unscrew the back frame screw and remove the valve assembly
Unscrew the brass hex piece from the aluminum tube
clean the cup seal, seat and interior
make sure you tighten the rod to the seal retainer before reassembly
reassemble

and once you pull the back part out that holds the valve if you want to get all the rest of the internals out you just unscrew the pump handle from the bolt and everything else will slide out, or you might have to tap it a bit to get the bolt to come out.
