My game crashed as I was fighting this dude. I survived though, but it felt like shit.

At least I got some cool stuff after raiding Cherno alone.
Nothing special besides some camo clothes and an Alice pack.

Did they fix the glitch where when you switch clothes you spawn in the ocean? Thats what happened to me once i got camo clothes

So i guess i died last night actually (it respawned me as like an old save in a building). Its super hard to survive without a makarov, and it seems like the zombies are getting aggro from so far away.

They really need to work out the bugs and the server problems before they start adding in new things like melee weapons and double barrel shotguns. I mean shit i cant even use them if i cant get in

I know. The worst part is that Rocket(the main developer) just says "fuck you, I'll do what I want." to most of the criticism he gets.
That might be his, and this mod's, downfall.
Not to mention the forums are littered with assholes.

Wow just climbed a military lookout point that of course has no loot and then it glitches me off the ladder and i fall . My guy get crawling around on the ground and wouldnt even give himself painkillers or morphine till i was at 3000 blood. Even with my painkillers my screen is blurry as hell and I cant seem to find food anywhere now?

Shit like that happen.
And looks like 1.7.1.2 is out now. Let's hope it fixes the shitty loot spawning among other things.
5 Deer stands and nothing but a bandage is kind of shitty. It's only where teh best loot in the game is supposed to be found.

Edit: 1.7.1.3 is still pending.

lol i got an AK74 from a treestand and went into some barn and killed this dude with a ghillie suit on laying down. Then when i was looting his body his buddy came up behind me and killed me with an axe... lol

Its so hard to get started off the respawn that it almost ruined the games fun for me. I can't even jog near a town without alerting every zombie to my presence. I never thought id say this but i miss the Makarov

I don't think the Makarov is the issue, but the fact that zombies spot you no matter what is wat I would call an issue.

They spot you too easily, often spawn almost directly on top of you, or directly in front of you, and they never let go of their agro. Oh, and the obvious point where they run faster than you, unless they are a hopper or crawler. My interest went way down now that you have no way of defending yourself at all when you first start. It was bad enough that once you were out of bullets, you were defenseless, and if you still had a zombie on you, you basically just had to lie down and die. But now you dont even get that. Agro even a single zombie before you can find a weapon (and ammo) and you are done for. Restart. And there are plenty of times that you just cant find a weapon. Other players have gotten them, or everything that spawned was glow sticks and cans and shit.

Nope, that pretty much ended it for me. Now wasting my time in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Rocket ruined everything with the pitch black night and the super zombies.
The next hotfix will at least take care of the zeds, but the nights seems like a no go.

A monkey on LSD could make a more realistic night than what DayZ have now.


If DayZ could get a night that looked like the nights in S.T.A.L.K.E.R, then we would have been onto something.
Shit, I'm gonna install Call of Pripyat again.

1.7.1.5 is now out. Supposed to fix super zombies and performance issues.

I'm giving the game one chance, and then I'm going back to STALKER. I wanna play all three in order again, that was really fun the last time I did it. But it only took like 60-70 hours yo do it.

Yeah, I played CoP for first time three days ago. Was WAY easier than Clear Skies, but still fun. It seemed almost like cheating with how easy it was to make money early on, and with Nimble right there at the start, I ended up with gear that made pretty much everything a cake walk. I can walk into just about any situation with my shotgun on full auto, and rarely walk out in bad shape, lol.
