Anyone know of any good speedball fields near lacey. I don't mind a bit of a drive.

There is not much out here in Olympia, Danger zone is the closest in Fort Lewis. A little past Shelton are two or three fields, though I have not tried them yet.

And the Field your friend mentioned is pretty well respected, and I have heard nothing but great things about them. And from what I hear, they cater more to the speedball crowd.

I have played at Dangerzone the last few times, however the vast majority of the time I have spent paintballing was at outlaw fields with friends.

I cant say I am familiar with the tournament scene though. You could ask the guys at the Pro shop in Olympia, they should be able to help you out.

The next trip to Dangerzone I intend to make will be for their big games in June and July. If you check out the link the other fellow posted, it should have the pricing and schedules for the events.

I know this is a bit more of a drive but theres also Operation Paintball out in the Orting area. They have a speedball area set up and also wooded stuff as well. Also one of the rare fields now a days that lets you bring your own paint if you pay an extra few bucks on the field fee.

Just about 45 min south of lacy is Elma. There is a field there. http://www.emeraldcityhobbies.com/
Prices are really reasonable and seem like really good people running it. While my group is mostly just friends in the woods playing we all think of Elma as our home field.
