Post count loss?

I just signed on, and i noticed that i lost 220-some posts. I was wondering as to why this happened?
I was at 947, and when i just signed on, i was at 722.
Is this a glitch, or "something else"?

OT posts dont matter and should not count towards post count.

Well, there's a couple things that piss me off. First of all, if the post count doesn't matter, why must Admins go out of there way to change something that doesn't matter? Also, why was I not notified of the change before or after it happened?

Because Off-Topic does nothing to advance the sport of paintball or help anyone, it's not really a serious section, so it shouldn't be treated as such. If you have a lot of posts in off-topic and few posts that are relevent why should it be rewarded? Not to say you're posts aren't relevent Heywod but if the post count was removed from off-topic does it really matter?
