I'm not asking about Eteks, I'm not asking about Axe's, and I'm sure as hell not asking about PMR's. JUST. THESE. TWO. GUNS.
I want to know:
1: How you think they match up on paper
2: How you think they match up on the field
3: Pros and Cons
4: If you've ever shot/owned one/both
5: Which gun you would pick of the two

Invasion blows the FX out of the fucking water just like Little Boy and Fat Man penetrated the Pacific Theater.
1.) On paper, with the Invasion you get much more bang for your buck more so than the FX
Efficiency :
- Invasion (10/11 Pods)
- FX (6/7) Pods)
Trigger:
- Invasion (I'm able to hit 18bps on semi Easy, Decent trigger feel)
- FX (Very stiff, Adjustable Fang/S- trigger, I personally hate this trigger)
"Bells and Whistles" :
- Both come with On/off ASAs, Clamping Feednecks, 2-piece Barrels.
- Invasion Is Macroline-less
Shot Quality:
- Both are honestly the Same
I have owned the Invasion and have used the FX extensively. Just as a comparison I have owned companies from almost every paintball company (PE, Dye, Macdev, BT, Empire, Tippmann, Tiberius, Alien, DP, PMI, etc)
Over all, I would pick the Invasion. The FX has very little, if anything over the Invasion. Also, the Invasion has a higher (used price/retail price) ratio than the FX

Hope this helped.

1: How you think they match up on paper - The invasion has a nice trigger, is macroless, kicks a little less, basically the only thing the FX has over the invasion is the OLED board.
2: How you think they match up on the field - Invasion is marcoless so it's easier to manuver, has a nice low profile feedneck. I don't like how the RAPS asa on the FX comes out of the side instead of the front. It gets in my way.
3: Pros and Cons - Refer back to #1 and #2
4: If you've ever shot/owned one/both - Yes, I've owned an invasion and played a couple games with an FX.
5: Which gun you would pick of the two - Invasion hands down.
Answers in red.
