So I want to build a paintball cannon thing to shoot nerf rockets. What parts would I need?

The very basics include a 2in diameter piece of PVC pipe, a valve, and some metal pipe to act as a volume chamber between your valve and air source. Also, depending on the event's rules, you'll probably need to incorporate a regulator just after the air source to be able to make sure you're under the FPS limit for the launchers.

make sure you ask whatever field or event producer that you attend what would be required to make it field legal. For example, Andrew and myself had to modify a design we are doing to incorporate safety features that Viper requires for his events.
