Really? A military treatise is your favorite book? That has no... anything, other than very basic and general concepts. Yes we are all aware it makes you sound awesome to say "Art of War" but come on. Every topic in the text is so general it can be applied to anything you want it to be. The only reason it's so well known is because it's so damn old.
Come on.
My favorite book is... Robin Crusoe I suppose. The Eye of the World is up there too. It's the first book in The Wheel of Time series.

This was a fantastic book, however my favorite has to go to either A Walk in the Woods or the books by Douglas Adams.
it seems that EVERY gun these days shoots ropes, money, tits, lasers, etc....put this in your sig if yours still shoots the other team...

Merlin-avalon. I read them years ago and somehow I still rank them as some of the most interesting books I've read. I remember being 12 and actually wanting to read. That's not something you could say about all 12 year olds when you give them about 3000-4000 pages to read lol
I also plan on re-reading them this summer because they still are my favorite books come to think of it.

How did you like Inheritance? I thought it was alright, I thought Paolini just kept on breaking him down as a character too much though and the ending sort of just seemed like he wanted to get it done and over with.

Dune
Harry Potter
Brave New World
The Giver
Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons
Most of the Star Wars books
Any Manga based on Anime that I've watched
Religious texts like Tao Te Ching, Quaran, Bible, etc. Good stuff to read even if you don't follow a religion, in my opinion.
Any mechanical book for car engines, electronics, building blueprints, etc.
