Undo the stitching on the elastic on the barrel sock, cut the arse out of the toy you want it in and pull out enough of the filler so theres enough room for the sock but not so much that it doesn't stay rigid. Put it in and see how it fits, cut it down if necessary, but try to avoid tampering with the end bit, then poke holes in the sides of the bottom of the sock, and push the elastic through so that the knot is on the outside, and sew it up. Then just sew the sock in.
