They were lost at CXBL Boarder Battle In Ottawa Ontario.

Why would someone want to jack a referee jersey? It's a bit unusual.

people would steal the eyeballs out of a blind man just to do it sometimes, it's called cleptomania (sp?).
that being said there might have been a reason for it

they weren't stolen per say, they were left in ottawa at border battle and they have not been returned to their rightful owners
