I already hve a tracer with bottomline kit, 10 round tubem grip, apex 2 proto primo, pinokio, and tank, I want to run 10 rnd on tracer and play open on a sniper style pump, I want to keep cost under 1000 but around 500 more realistically. I can get a new empire sniper for mid 300s through a deal I can get a t2 for 460-600 it appears, so the real question is is the t2 WORTH the extra $100-250~ value wise.

on a side note I am 100% opposed to buying used gear from internet.

Do you want the handmade sexy and one-of-a-kind built-for-you marker that also comes with a price, or do you want the factory pump that doesn't cost as much and just gets the job done?

the t2 is a better performing gun and a higher level of marker (high-end). sniper's a heck of a gun too though.

We.are.comparing a high end to a mid end. The T2 is a better gun, but it costs almost double.

Except it only cost $180 more than the Sniper's $420 price tag ($600 for a one color T2). If you want to add on other stuff, it will of course cost more (Barrel kit, fittings, Aluminum Panels, etc.). But stock, a T2 isn't really that much more expensive. And worth the extra money too.

If you've never shot or played with a CCM, you'll be perfectly happy with a Sniper
I only play paintball so I can tell dirty jokes.

i had both side by side and felt.... like 0 difference except ever so slightly in the auto trigger, but loved the hitman mod on the sniper.

Really, its your choice.None of us can demand that you get a CCM or sniper. If you personally like the Sniper over the CCM,then go with it.I used an empire sniper for a couple weekends and I loved it.But,I have also used CCM's and love them. Now,while I'm broke and therefore own neither of these,I have,as was stated before, used them for several outings to the field.I think that they are both fantastic markers, but I think the Sniper was better by just a little. It might be that I was accustomed to the Sniper's feel,or that I just like it more, but I think it was the better marker. But thats not to say that I don't like CCM products,as their pump kits are great if you are building a WGP Sniper. And seeing as you will most likely be playing alot of pump after you purchase a gun, remember that $180 for paint will last alot longer than with a semi or electro.

Pump stroke on the CCM is better, and I don't like hitman mods, seeing as how you're supposed to hold the pump handle forward when shooting a pump. Just my opinion. I also think the Empire Sniper just looks super mass produced, the anodizing just doesn't look high quality to me. I'd rather have a full block 2k2 sniper.

CCM all the way. if you dont have a problem with the extra money that is. WAY SMOOTHER pump stroke (which is what you want with a pump) and like stated above, it is made the way you want it, not from a factory.
