Bob Long Victory Engine

I have recently picked up a V1 Victory that has a supercharger kit. Upon taking the engine apart I noticed that the top of the engine does not have a "Relief Hole" that is mentioned in Bob Longs Supercharger Video as well as the manual from BoblongDirect.com. Is this "Relief Hole" something i need to Drill or have drilled, or will I be fine without it?
