Paintball Grenades

On Sunday I was playing a game that was about 75% renters/ 25% regulars. At one point in the game our entire team was pushed back into some trenches. The opposing team moved up to one bunker/trench that was about 20 ft away from me. Two of the regulars on the other team were the closest to me and they were using full auto and keeping us down. I knew that it would be an awesome time for a 'nade! I was Rambo-ing hardcore. I took out a V-tac grenade and pulled the pin. The paint proceded to spray out of it, on me and the guy next to me. Then I threw it. The paint spray made it veer to the left while spinning and spraying me some more. Then I got gogged by a renter. I stood up and started walking then I noticed I got no one with the grenade. :angry:


I have decided that i will NEVER use a paint grenade again.

Has anyone else made this decision ?

Grenades are a waste of money......always have always will. I would rather spend the $5 on another 100 paintballs.

Only time I have ever seen paint grenades used effectively was the Final Battle of LL5. THats because the number of bodies involved in the fight makes it hard NOT to eliminate somebody with it.

Best grenades are the ones that just make a huge explosion sound, streams of piss go everywhere when those go off.

spoke grenades are the best because unless you have a ref right there no one will get out, like the final battle of ll5 refs were on their shit with the grenades, only downside? everyone was already sprayed so you can't really tell who got hit and who didn't they just did a proximity thing.

Yeah. It was good to see they knew what to look for. I still remember Necro yelling at the Horde side at LLV to throw the smoke grenades back on the Dinner Battle lol. We got yelled at for that, so I ended up having to sit in a smoke cloud for a good 15 minutes lol. Was great for concealment.
