i got a mini a while back and i thought just 4 fun i would buy a pump gun and i was thinking about the hammar7. what is some of y'all s thoughts on this gun? some of the things that got me thinking about this gun is that i can us my hpa tank and my rotor on it

Why not? It's mag fed, it's a pump, and it's FS ready. You can also use it with a hopper if you want. And it only costs 130 dollars.

Go for it, just be sure to get a bottomline kit. Back air is uncomfortable.

A used trilogy pump would probably be better than this,but I have no experience with the hammer7.

Mag-fed and first strike does your trilly have that?

Yes,all I need is an 8.1 and a dremmel

In terms of diversity,the Hammer7 blows the trilly out of the water.But for normal pump play,the trilogy would most likely be better(again,no experience with the Hammer7).Plus,a Hammer with 2 mags would be about $200,while a trilogy off of ebay for $75 an a pump kit for $50 would be $125.

I personally wouldn't, but that's because I despise mag-fed markers.

I just got one. They don't compare to my nicer stock pumps. Truly an entry level gun. The biggest and just about only thing it has going for it is the ability to feed First Strike Rounds through mags. If you don't want to shoot First Strike Rounds or mags I would recommend just about any other pump.

I feel this is a matter of personal preference. I ran a back bottle phantom for a number of years, and used it as my renter pump for my friends, and many of them much preferred that to the current configuration I have it in with the bottom line.
