mini asa as in small or for the mini?

no the mini has an integrated reg in the asa, I don't believe their is any aftermarket product to replace it with yet. mini, just means smaller in this case, (look at the older cp direct mounts!)

The direct mount asa's need to be long because they need to have the room for the screws to go through them and still have room for the air passage way to go through.

meh if thats the case I'll stick with my old direct mount. It seems to me the new one is slimmer but longer and the old one short and stubby. IMO short and stubby > slim and long

I always personally liked the rail setup. You could always move the asa a bit forward or backwards to adjust what feels right.

abomb: i agree with you, I'm curios to see this one next to the old ones to see what the size difference really is. It's hard to tell without it being mounted on a gun or something.

AJN: I think 50 is crazy. parts like this should be 20 max, but then again lot of stuff should be a lot cheaper.....

Yikes thats it from CP this year? hmm I am a bit dissapointed. CP usally does more then this. I am surprised to say the least. Well lets hope there is more neat stuff later on.
