This shall now be an E-Bolt Build Thread.
Ram custom milled from CAD drawings should be around $200.
I also plan on cutting up a UL Frame to fit on the 98.

I would use the ram, some sort of board that meets the requirements, a noid, and some other parts.

Ram- $200
Board/Frame- $100-200
Solenoid- $50
HPR + LPR~ $100
ASA- $50 (either Eclipse OOPS or some ASA with line out front)
New Bolt/Power-Tube so it's LOUD AS FUCK- $50
Fittings- $20 (allowing a lot for fucked up fittings)
Macro- $5 (for 5 feet, just in case I fuck up)

Overall Price: $625.00

I'm probably going to regret this horribly.

Lol, an Etek with an unported Palmers brass barrel.... THAT would be loud.

I always found Ebolt tippys to be really cool, but there's a reason why there aren't that many. The cost to build is just SOOOOOO impractical. Building a custom milled/anno'd Cocker would be much cheaper/less time consuming.

Okay so here's what's gonna go down.

Ion breech/bolt/internals will be fabricated to create a ram similar to the ebolt ram.
It will look like this.


The problem will be mounting it to the 98 grooves, but I'll figure something out.
Removing the blowback valve should give me more efficiency because less air is being used, as well as not being necessary.

Basically besides the ram everything should almost be a drop in.
I need a 3-way(?) valve to hook up the regulator, the ram airline, and to the power tube to actually shoot it. I believe the Ion comes with it.
Filling the bolt pin hole shouldn't be a problem, and I actually plan to house the battery there like the old ebolts if I cannot place it else where.
If not, I will probably place it on the top if I cannot fit it in the grip frame. I could set up an Empire Relay to it with a drop forward like some people have, but I do not know yet.
Low Pressure Kit most likely will not be necessary.

IT WILL BE OLED. I WANT IT OLED. OLEDOLEDOLED.
I will also acquire the push pins to make this a tool-free disassembly besides the screws to remove the center feed.
Bolt could be TechT hush bolt or the stock bolt.
I'm very excited for this project.

So it appears I will be chopping up an ion and putting it into the tippmann with a new power tube, and a loudener over the tip of the barrel.
