I got shot in the handle with my stock DM 11 grips and smoked them board. Any suggestions on improving grips to eliminate the gaps between the Grip and frame?

There are the only ones available, are you sure all the "pins" were snapped in place? Cause I've gotten shot plenty of times in the frame with those grips and it never fried my board.

Pin was in, possibly a fluke but there was shell and paint on board.

thats got to be a 1 in a million shot.
also, i think something else fried your board. boards are coated with a water resistant coating so they shouldn't fry that easily.
also keep in mind that paint is primarily made up of fish oil... which is non-conductive.

I used the term smoked loosely, damaged would be a better term. It's looking more like a fluke. Thanks for the posts

The board wouldn't turn on. I tried a new battery.
