I saw a pic on criticals facebook and it reminds be of an uber woodsball marker. Had a bunch of unneeded addons but in the end is still a speedball marker. It's a great thing for woodsballers so they can have a great shooter and still get the look they want

So why didn't they just mount offset sight rails on it in the first place?

Haha there's no room for the loader but they probably did that in jest. So, when are they coming out so I can buy one? I haven't seen anything on ANS yet.

Maybe. It would be a tight squeeze but you might be able to fit a Revolution in there and have it clear the windage knobs on that scope.
It just raises the question: why didn't they put proper offset rails on the body of the gun in the first place?
The AGD Tac-One, some tactical Ion bodies, and even the old Brass Eagle Rainmaker did this with great results.

Not much of a scenario guy, but if I were to get an Etha; I'd consider buying one of these.
They look great!

Using a gun that's been hardly maintained and tossed from person to person more than a village whore is hardly a fair way to compare the marker.

Probably because the person who did this doesnt have Occluded sights or doesn't know how they work. It would have been better to use the occluded sight because you can get you eye up to this sight while wearing a mask

It is set up that way.. i judt dont understand teh use for the ar carry handle sight

i would kinda prefer to have the sight on the right side, since i usally tilt in the marker that way... but only if there wasnt a stock..

This is one option of using a red dot with a stock..

I should have clarified: That's the way these bodies should have been built.
As-is, even if you use an offset sight rail adapter the sight is going to be elevated so high and then turned at a 45* angle that you run into clearance issues with the back of the loader.
If they had just put the rear sight rails at a 45* angle on the body itself in the first place there would be no clearance issues with most sights and people wouldn't have to use an adapter.

Better to stay with this sight mounted atop the marker right behind the barrel

Its the Occluded sight and doesn't require you to put you eye right up against it. Probably the best option for these purposes seeing as we have to wear our goggles to play.

Any red dot sight functions as an OEG when the viewpoint past the lens is obscured.
They function fine, and I use OEGs on my pumps, but a true dot sight that you can actually look through is almost always better.
If they had given this body offset sight rails, mounting proper sights like this, or OEGs, would be much easier.
Beyond that, there's the clearance issue. With today's low-profile feednecks and loader shapes, putting the sight rail on top of the gun means that most sights will not be able to squeeze into the space between the loader and the rail. This is true of both OEGs and dot sights.
Again, moving the rail *45 to the side eliminates this problem.

If they sell the body alone, I'd be willing to buy it. I can make my own apex tip ;)

Actually, I'd probably buy it no matter what lol. I still think it looks sick. B)

Seeing as how the Etha seems heavily based on the Automag with Level 10, maybe they'll now release a new Warp? ;)

I'd use something like this with it:

It might solve the foolish "rail behind the hopper," too.
