Review: Killer paintball is a smaller building connected to a larger building! They have 3 field as of 7/3/2011 @ 4:17.

Staging area
They have about 15 tables w/ benches on the side to sit. They also have lockers you could put stuff into. They are pretty clean in the staging area. I give the staging area a 8.5/10

Prices

$15 for entry (3 hour session)
$10 rental equipment fee includes: marker, mask, air tank, hopper and barrel bag
.15 cents an ounce on CO2 fills
$1.50 per 1000 psi on nitro fills (HPA-3000 & 4500)
$15 for air cards (All day air)
2000 round of paint: $50 plus tax-When I went, I thought it was $42 for cheaper paint. Killer is BYOP/FP-Which means you can go and get paint at: Dunhams, Exotic sports, Wal-mart , Or buy at killer. Rental players must use our paintballs when using our equipment
All players must be over the age of 10
All players must fill out a Waiver Form to play

Fields:
They have 3 fields.

Speedball/Hyperball.

They have a speedball field with a hyperball snake and a wooden back right.
There bunkers are pretty dirty. The field is sort of open as they do NOT have alot of bunkers

Barrel Grounds
55 gallon water jugs-Wooden bunkers-Hyperball bunker(s)
This one is actually very cool! It is more of a smaller scenario. They have a few games modes that you play: Elimination-C.T.F-Sniper (they mostly only do this for parties, but they have a balcony and the birthday boy/girl is neutral play. They try and eliminate as many players as they can while the rest of the players are trying to eliminate the other players.

Outside

Hyperball-Wooden-55 gallon Jugs

This one is a narrow, long field that is also ok to play on. It is basically the same type as Barrel grounds.

Safety

Safety is there #1 thing at killer. they have a video that they show the new comers that explains it very well. They also do this card system. You have a card pinned to you, There are 3 boxes. If you break a rule (Barrel sock, Mask), you get one punch.
One punch means-Warning
2-Sit a game
3-kicked out.

They are VERY strict on mask and barrel sock rules!

The players there range from new comers up to tournament players. They try more to let the renters play with renters and tourney players play with other tourney players!

I give killer a 7.5! If they could: Clean the bunkers-Get a new speedball field, They would have a sweet field!

they had a real airball feel but got rid of it kuz the bunkers got too torn up

Review:
I have played at this field the most out of any field! before we get to the review lets get the basic facts out there!

-This field is field paint only.

-entry with air included is 15$ for all day with your own gear, or 25$ if you need gear.

-paint is 50$ for 2000, 30$ for 1000 or 20$ for 500.

- they are open sat and sunday from 10am to 5pm from april to november, but durring the other months it is only sunday from noon to 4pm
Lone Wolf has a lot to offer on playing styles, they have 4 woods ball fields, a spool field set up for speedball, and an airball field they only set up in the warmer months. The first woodsball field they call village, and like it sounds it has bunkers made out of wood that resemble little houses, or huts. The next woodsball field they refer to as tires, and well you guessed it a lot of the bunkers are made out of old tires! This field has lots of hills and trenches, as well as a few wood bunkers, stick/log piled bunkers, and of course TIRES! The third woodsball field they refer to as Jordan its set up sort of as an attack and defend field, one side starts off in a compound with a 2 level wooden building, closer to the middle of the field their is another 2 level wooden building that is larger, the rest of the field has log/stick piled bunkers, plywood bunkers, and fiberglass rock formations. There is even a heavily brush covered side to be used as a flank to the "castles". The last woodsball field is called 5 man, at one end there is a large 2 level "castle" the rest of the field is various stick/log pile bunkers, wood bunkers, there are trenches, and ply wood bunkers as well! Again this field is set up more like an attack and defend game! The speedball field is a bunch of old big wooden spools of varying sizes set up as mirrored halves of a field, as you would expect in speedball. They also have an airball field that often varys in design when they set it up! The staff is very friendly and helpful! they keep the fields pretty clean! The have several spools tipped over to use as tables for staging they also have a covered pavilion with tables in it! They chrono the guns to 280fps! The refs are very fair with teams, and helpful with getting players out! They are big on saftey, pretty much as soon as you leave the staging area to chrono or enter a field goggles must be on, and they will let you know this! they have a very in depth orientation for new players to explain all of their rules, and the do's and dont's! The playing levels here range from new player all the way to tournament players! There is something here for everyone! I highly recommend them! overall i give them a 8.5 out of 10 the only thing i would like to see improved is a larger covered area, and the air ball field to be set up more, unfortunately its not up very often! However the later of my complaints is a personal preference as i am a speedball player!

Hmm....Never been to east. I play at the west location mainly. The west is hands down awesome, it's really laid back, not super large, but still nice. Sadly I'm too lazy to write a full review

Review:
Field Paint Only Paint is 40$ cheapest for a case, and 15 for a bag., 20$ Entry air all day ( usually have 2 for 20 specials )
Field is very strict on safety... which is a plus. Overall;Great field. A mix between experienced players and renters. Treat you like family, always nice, always helping players.Defiantly go there, Only field i go to. 10/10

Personal thoughts:

As you may of noticed is a "Club". It is not settup to earn money. The only reason they sell waivers is for their final "Big Game". Because they are sett up that way, it allows new players to get started off. I live about an hour and a half away and, even though there is a lot closer and nicer courses, I still choose to take my new paintballer friends to play there because it is a ton cheaper. Everyone who helps out there is very nice and helpful if you need help or need advice. There are no payed reff, so they allow everyone and a few volunteering reffs to make official calls. They are very strict on safety and will not allow any unsafe behavior. The field usually has HPA, Co2 and paintballs on site for sale, but a few times I went, they had no paint and no Co2(Thankfully they are good with HPA). I didn't like that they were out of them(made me loose confidence a little bit), but thankfully there is a Dunham's right in town that we could stop and grab stuff before hand.
Their "Safe Zone" is about 75ft by 50ft and usually gets full if you don't stop out early for the Scenarios.
For the Field, I think it is pretty good for not putting hardly any money toward it, but because of it, you miss a lot of excitement companies have and play mainly behind trees and piled up branches. There are good spots to be, don't get me wrong! Their "Hornet's Nest" and "Splat City" are really fun to play in. You just miss an overall field.

So, I suggest if you are new and want to get into paintball more at a field, you check this place out. It is cheap, it has good and help full people.
I take new guys out a lot and they have a blast. Now if you are looking for and "Official" playing course and want to stay out of the woods as much as possible, you can look anywhere else. But, I suggest you at least check it out.
