alrighty well im starting my first team with some friends ( probably not going to turn out good but we want to get better ) so the name My one friend came up with team inferno but personally to me it sounds kind of kiddish/noobish. So i was wondering what you thought yes or no and if no what do you recomend for a good (clean) name. Thanks

IMHO, if everyone doesn't agree move on to the next candidate. If you and your friends are going to get custom jerseys and such, they are not going to spend money on something they don't like. It also helps with overall team cohesion. Your team name should be something you can all rally behind.

I always go for something ridiculous. Or something funny. For instance the team, "Off Constantly" at first glance this team name might sound dumb, until another team wins a match against you, and when your hopes are down, and the other team is laughing because they win, you will indeed get the last laugh, as the other team shouts, "WE JUST BEAT OFF CONSTANTLY" It makes the other team look like fools. hehee

I just like funny/goofy/ridiculous names, because my theory is, if you are going for a crazy name, every name works. but if you think too seriously about it, then you might second think your team name later.

Thats just my technique!

you could always go with something like "The Pink Inferno Rainbow Ninja Unicorns," or the "Sparkling Inferno Ponies." ........

You know, something that really grabs people's attention.




Seriously, tho; find a name everyone can agree on. Maybe use the name of your town in part of it.

Its not a bad name, but its missing something. Where are you from? because you could always make it into (City Name) Inferno or (State Name) Inferno. You could even break it down to the neighborhood if you're all from the same area.

Like for me it would be Chicago Inferno, Illinois Inferno, or West Loop Inferno... Now that read that back to myself all I can think is Disco Inferno.
