Just picked up a new 45/45. Although I've always used empire or dye. I'm open to new things. And its been a while since I shopped for a tank cover. Anybody recommend anything? Particular brands? They're all basically the same price. I want something super tough. And it would be nice if it was physically appealing also.

They are pretty much all the same, just get what you find aesthetically pleasing.

Yeah I've used those quite a bit. I like them. But I'm pretty sure I'm just going to go empire. It's fail safe.

My NXE cover is pretty nice, not just a thin sleeve but actually has protection.

I like using Exalt Tank Covers not the exalt tank grips since they leave the tank too exposed for my taste. They can tend to be a pain to put on and take apart but I rarely take the tank cover off my tank and I guess I got used to it in a way as well. :)

No get the exalt tank grips because heres a thing thats annoying about tank covers: they move and slip around far too much. Tank grips actually grip to your shoulder great and feel nice there, and they dont move around at all.

Agreed x10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

I always hated how pretty much every single tank cover was made of some sort of fabric, thus causing it to be a pain in the ass to take off the gun, even with an on/off ASA.I use the exalt tank butt, and LOVE IT!

From personal experience,
I found that if applied properly it shouldn't move around too much. In fact, mine doesn't move at all and works just like a tank butt would but with more protection. Of course, the con for it is that it can tend to be a pain in the ass to put on the tank. That's my personal experience. ;)

Mine doesn't move and slip, just buy a tank cover that has rubber grips all over it.

I love the Exalt tank grips/covers. I'd recommend buying the newest generation of cover, which look like this. I have used all their tank grips and I like this one the most because it says in place well, and has good grip for your shoulder as well.

The planet eclipse ones have grip on the inside and I love mine. Guerrilla air makes a nice one too
