So I want a pump gun that's relatively simple and fun to play with.
I like that the Kaos is ergonomically similar to poppet guns that I use from time to time; but I also like that the Hammer 7 can easily switch from open class to magfed.

I'm strictly buying new, and no: I will not consider buying a used Sniper, CCM or any other cocker-based pump.

Thank you.

Using a gun that's been hardly maintained and tossed from person to person more than a village whore is hardly a fair way to compare the marker.

I'm sorry but most used pumps will shit on those two.

I'm sorry but I didn't ask about most other used pumps, did I?

You did not, I don't like the Kp and I will pretty much never recommend it. I have no experience with the Hammer 7 so I can't comment on it.

Reasons you don't like the Kp? The few times I've used one, it felt pretty solid.

It's loud, efficiency is not that great (doesn't really matter, unless you play scenarios), it's kind of awkward feeling for a pump, if they sold it with the single trigger it would be a LOT better feeling.

It's not big stuff, I had experience with the KP before I did with a sniper, actually planned on getting one for awhile till I got my trilogy. It's really up to you, I feel like the sniper platform is better performing overall.

I've used both snipers and the KP and can't really tell much difference, except that snipers are generally heavier and have different ergos.

At one point I had a right feed phantom that I liked a lot (mostly for its simplicity) so the Hammer7 looks nice as well.

To be fair though, the KP is pretty much "cocker based," just in a compacted body. That said, I vote Hammer because you can use FS rounds.

I also vote Hammer because it's more versatile. More uses means you use it more. And that's a good thing.

the kp is a better pump gun all around, but the Hammer 7 is magfed can shoot FSR.
i would rather have the hammer but thats because i think it would be awesome to shoot FSR from a pump but thats just me
