Buy a better cooler no doubt.
Also, what type of HDDs/SSDs are you using? Maybe try getting one for reading (where you will load from the camera), then one for write (the finished video). You could also get two more HDDs/SSDs one for video RAW, one for video finished, then one for OS. This would be ideal, but not everyone thinks its worth it if (I don't) but if your rich and do tons of video, then it's worth it for the speed difference.
Finally, make sure lucid logics is enablebed (so you can use the CPU for video rendering and not the GPU).
Plus upgrading to an i7 wouldn't hurt

So yes, that should speed it up a bit.
