So I have this Trilogy here, and I'm having some issues.

I'm cocking it, then screwing in the tank. I can fire the first shot or two, then it doesn't "autocock" and I have to cock it manually. It will then fire another ball or two and restart the process. While uncocked, it leaks down the barrel, and the bolt and back block will move when the trigger is pulled. I can't seem to figure out the problem. I would love to it ups video and show you what it is doing, but sadly I don't have any air, or a video camera.

When you shoot it, make sure you're pulling the trigger all the way back. You may be short stroking it. Also, the gun leaking while uncocked is normal, that's because the hammer is resting on the valve holding it open.

If you have an adjustable LPR start there.

All autocockers leak when not cocked. The way I fixed this problem was by messing with the LPR and HPR until it shot right.

I cat really see if it feels week, I don't have any air. I could try this weekend. I was just kind of wondering if I was doing something wrong. I was planning on pumping it, but wanted to play mech before I get a pump kit.

I don't think the Trilogy has an adjustable LPR, does it?

The trilogy's LPR is adjustable, you just have to take it off the gun first.

So, would playing with the LPR help?

Maybe, but the next time you have air, pull the trigger very slowly and see where the sear release is, then where the cocking point is on the trigger pull. If those seem to be in order (trip the sear first, re-cock after but not too close to releasing the sear), then try and shoot it and make sure that you're pulling the trigger all the way, and releasing all the way every single time. If it's timed properly, and you don't think you're short stroking it, then it could be the LPR. When you're pulling the trigger all the way back, and the gun's bolt is open, push down on the back block to see how strong/weak it is. You'll want it strong enough to resist the push, but not rock hard.

and if you do take off the lpr, dont pull the hoses through the plastic rings. just pull the hose off of the barb and keep the hoses through the plastic loops. this will save you time putting it all back together.

i believe its counter clockwise for higher pressure and clockwise for lower pressure.

does it have any aftermarket parts like the techt timing shaft?

It has a CP detent (shouldn't be affecting anything) and an Eclipse hinge trigger frame. I don't think they affect anything. Those are the only ups I'm aware of because I bought it used.

with a different frame on there, it may need a few more adjustments with the lug and/or trigger adjustment screws. check with the slow pull test and we will go from there.

I always do this with new markers, I just tell them that it is a friend's marker.

When was the last time it was cleaned?
Perhaps there's crap in the valve that's not allowing it to open and seal as it's supposed to.
