It's only $95, fixed the title. The news post on Deadlywind has the non-typo price.

Building on the wildly successful Fibur barrel, Deadlywind Paintball is pleased to announce a new variation of the popular Fibur line of paintball barrels. Dubbed the "Fibur-X" ("X" a reference to "exchangeable"), the new barrel line has taken the same proven performance of the Fibur and added removable threaded backs. These exchangeable backs give the barrel the ability to swap to different guns without having to replace the entire barrel. The system also provides a more affordable way to own different lengths of barrels without having to purchase a complete barrel for each length.

The Fibur-X barrel line will hit January 15 2013 and have an MSRP of $95 and a street price around $90; the threaded backs and main bodies will also be available separately. Contact your local Deadlywind dealer for availability, or Deadlywind directly for more information.

And from Facebook:

The barrel is only available to dealers for now. Our store doesn't let us hide products from non-dealers (yet), so we put a crazy price on it to keep non-dealers from buying it. Turns out this was a dumb idea.

actually it wasn't a dumb idea at all, I think it was hilarious how much press they had

Of course everyone knew it was $95, but it was still silly to see it at $950 LOL

Definitely got a ton of press on Facebook that's for sure hahahahaha

Just noticed this thread and I thought I should post my initial thoughts here as well.

Upon purchasing I head a boom at my door. As I approached to open the front door I could hear the hum of angels in the air. Before me the barrels were hovering surrounded by a halo of white light and a noticed the faint glow of silver from the inserts. I could sense the AGG radiating from them and i could the feel the power as I reached to touch my new purchase. My marker will finally shoot the lasers I dreamed of and it was thanks to my new Deadlywind Fibur-X carbon fiber barrel. Then realized I disliked the shade of the color and traded it for a CP 2 piece.
