so the title explains it im looking to get into playing pump and im wondering what is the best open class pump for around 300$ ive been leaning towards phantoms but im open for suggestion :)

Hahaha wazzup Myles...

Order a Phantom from Ed, an Open Class one is around $200-$250 depending on options. Do that.

For like $200-$300 you could get a nice Sniper. CCM'd, and a decent body. My S5 was $280 and it has an 86* frame.
