Nope, although a lot of players start with them. How did you like the TPX?

i liked it alot. but now.. it just sits in my closet. i dont even think i "own" it because it is the least used. definitly worth the money. soo much fun

Went for a spyder as well, it was cheaper, got rid of it in a month

Depends on your area, where I'm from it was mostly outlaw ball for the longest time. so you picked up a Tippmann because it was all you could get at the store.

If I didn't buy so many guns for the sole purpose of fondling them i'd be a very rich man.

Am I the only one that when they see FEP QUEST they read it as FAP-QUEST then chuckle silently?

Best gun JT has come out with prior to the Impulse. The damn thing had like a centimeter or two of solid aluminum.
But no, I don't consider me ever having a Tippmann. I got a 98 custom for like 20 bucks from this field that didn't want it or something, new, sealed in box, and it's only been a loaner for the person I most dislike when I bring them out to the field. The only reason why I absolutely adore it is because the feedneck comes off so cleanly, so I can musket ball it up with a friend by giving him the Tippmann while I use my JT Tac-5M Recon Master Race Sniper. The only annoying part is that with the Tippmann, you have to load it funny: twist right hand inwards, load ball.
or:
Hold the heavy thing from the grip with your left hand, load ball in.

But I only owned one as a loaner. I'm a sucker for free guns.
