Shots per Fill - Depends on your marker
Lightness - Carbon Fiber if you want to go light
Price - There isn't much out there for $100 and below. You would be looking at getting a aluminum alloy tank, which will be heavier.

If you would be able to squeeze out maybe an extra $40-$50, then you would be looking at purchasing some nice tanks.

You can get some carbon fiber tanks that are store brands like AVI from ActionVillage.com for roughly $100, but the reg quality I'm sure is lacking compared to that of name brand such as Crossfire, Ninja, Guerrilla Air, etc... The AVI tank is a 68/4500 if I'm not mistaken and you should get 900+ shots per fill with even the worst gas hog.

Bottle would typically cost $110-140 brand new, and a reg would cost $40-50 for the low end ones and $80 for the high-end ones.

I would just get a good 68/4500 5 year tank. Yea it's above your price range, but it's either that or a cheapo steely. If price is your biggest concern, I would get one of these two tanks:
Nameless 48/3000 Steely $30
Nameless 68/4500 Carbon Fiber 5 Year $110

Most tank regs these days are high flowing enough not to lead to shootdown issues so you don't need the best, and there's little difference on the actual tank from manufacturer to manufacturer except on the length of hydro. Both of the above, although not the best, work just fine and the CF one has a 5 year hydro like a high quality tank.

I thought about going that route, but I had a very hard time finding Reg less tanks. When I finally found some, I think they were PMI, they were like $130+. Then buying a new reg would cost $30+ and having to pay to get it installed, since they need to be torqued to certain specs, I'd end up spending more than just buying a new Crossfire or Ninja tank.

^^^ I agree, it isn't very cost effective to get a separate tank and regulator. If you can afford it, get a Ninja or Crossfire 68/4500psi tank. They will get you around 1500 shots on a not-so efficient gun, which is still a lot. the reason I say this is because lightness is one of your concerns. A carbon tank like those mentioned above would be around 2 and a half-ish pounds. A steel one that is only 48 ci and only holds 3000 psi of air would be closer to 3 pounds. All in all, it would be a very good move to get a carbon tank, despite the extra expense. (Think about it as one less case of paint. Just mooch off your friends!)

I am pretty sure the so called no name tank up there ^^^ is made by the same company is supplies Ninja with their tanks and many other tank companies as well. Just the reg that matters.
