If you're reloading and your pod gets hit, are you out because you're holding the pod or do you just throw it down and keep going?

There's no single unifying rulebook, so it depends on where you're playing. In the PSP, you're out if anything in your possession is hit.

Hits count until you drop it on the ground.

Thanks for the responses, guys. The whole reason I asked this is because of a youtube video where exactly that happened and the guy just dropped the pod and kept playing. But like all youtube paintball videos not featuring Mike, there was no commentary and a dub step track playing over it and it cut away before showing whether or not a ref called him out so I got curious.

Mike is one of the best that I ha e seen he is most consistant and he accually plays with the markers before making the reviews. Also he isn't baised. He likes certain markers over others but he tells the truth about them either way. Most other reviewers/commentators are baised suck at the eff test as well as don't take the time to take temp of the tank before hand nor accaully listen yo vewiers reaponses.
