Taking a break from paintball for the winter, my views on spending moneyz shift toward different ways to mess around. One of the one things I have found enjoyment in recently is adding various interior arrangements to my old cadillac. So far my list on the car includes tints, HID headlights, a new radio, and LEDs for under the dash lighting. Unfortunately now I have it a block in what to go onto next. The car came with a sub and amp, but the car already has plenty of bass to attract unwanted attention(aka. the police). What should I go onto next? I was personally thinking different fog light bulbs or maybe new mats. Money isn't a huge issue when you work although its min. wage. Oh yes, and lets take SAVING MONEY FOR COLLEGE OUT OF THE EQUATION. I have personally seen too many of these threads ending with the user being told by everyone bandwagoning to saving money and ends with very few responses regarding the actual topic. I am sorry for being rude, but would like a few good responses before being flamed as an idiot teenager who is uber wealthy and spoiled. I do understand times are tough, but when you don't have living or utility expenses, you end up with a surplus of cash. WORK=MONEY and I have chosen willingly spend a portion of that paycheck toward my vehicle. Hopefully I won't have too many saving related responses. Try to limit accessories to only a few hundred dollars at most, I'm not made of money.

Well I haven't ever messed with the photobucket stuff... but it is a 2005 Cadillac cts. I can do basic stuff with interior stuff like leds, amps, speakers, subs, or replacing bulbs but beyond that not much.

Hahahaha more horsepower, its just a little automatic v6, I don't think it'll be worth getting much power from that.

Well, you could do simple things that would help out performance, nothing major, but it will help.

You could switch over to a synthetic oil, put in some E3 spark plugs, and a cold air intake (K&N is the way to go). If you want you could also get a tuner to help with fuel economy and horsepower. All of these are simple, cheap, and will add a little power.

You could also put on new tires, something with a more aggressive tread pattern for better handling.

I may not be the person to ask, because right now all I really care about in a car is power and handling, neither of which my current car has.

k&n is way overrated. You can get the same from spectre, or any other cheap air filter. A tune is the first place to go. Find a local GM dealer or performance parts place, and ask them who tunes cadillacs. I have driven an 09 tuned cadillac cts v6, and they really move. Exhaust is always good, get a lower rumble, but not loud. Flowmaster is the way to go on this, although magnaflow is also a good brand.

It is true you can get the same performance from any other brand, like Air Raid, but I just like K&N. And good call with the exhaust, something simple like a catback system can really change up the sound of the car. But don't open up the exhaust too much, or you'll lose low end torque. And yes, Flowmaster and Magnaflow are the way to go for exhaust.

How many do you have already?
And what's the engine size?

It should have stock 255hp and its a 3.6L

Depending on the torque and the weight of the car.(I'm guessing it's really heave since it's a Cadillac)
That should be sufficient.

My Audi A4 has 150hp and it's 2.6L and that thing goes pretty damn good. But then again, I drive manual.

Yeah I'm not really looking at performance, just cool interior accessories or things that might give me a little edge on gas like a tuner.

Do you know how many liters it uses per metric mile? Stupid question to ask someone who uses imperial miles and gallons I know.

I mean hell, I've got a single Clarion 12 inch sub and a 2000w amp. Totally worth it.
