Hi guys, so im going to Cup with my team to play D4 Rt2 and we were planning on taking a few friends to help us in the pit. But someone told us that if we wanted people in the pit to help us, they would have to pay the same amount as the players registration fee! Please help me! Is this true? Or were they being assholes by telling me this? Please help me out here? Thanks in advance.

From what I understand they just have to have an id card which is like $30 or $50
