Do you guys recommend this hopper for starting out and learning how to use a electronic hopper.

( BTW I have a semi- auto Spyder Xtra )

My Setup: Dangerous Power G3, Empire Prophecy, Ninja 50/45, 08 Empire Gloves, Dye C7 Pants/Jersey, Dye Beanie ;)

They're not bad loaders, but there's better. I mean they only feed around 12bps so if you ever use an Electric marker with it you run a high probability of out shooting it and chopping. Hell, even a finely tuned mechanical marker can outshoot one. If you never intend to shoot above 10bps then they're pretty decent hoppers. How much is it going to cost you? You might be able to buy better for just a few bucks more.
