find someone with good positive feedback, and when looking at the feedback make sure the people that are vouching for this person are trusted themselves as well. This eliminates the chance of buying from someone who makes multiple accounts to post fake feedback for himself.

If someone scams you the staff will track them down and show up at their house...literally lol. If you trade with someone that has more than a few feedback you're usually pretty safe. Post count is another thing to look for, or you could always do a 3rd party trade. I've had no problem on the BST here though.

This site is very safe when it comes to scamming. This site has built a reputation as a very difficult place to scam people, and that in itself will scare away some scammers. The rules scare away most scammers. Follow these steps to avoid being scammed.

1. Make sure the ad follows all TechPB BST rules. If it doesn't, then move on.

2. Check the user's feedback, usually posted in their sig, take mine for example. This will show people who have dealt with this person and they say whether or not they are a legit buyer. Traditionally the person with lower feedback ships first, unless the two parties come to another agreement.

3. If you are buying something, send it under the "goods" option, NO MATTER WHAT. This will ensure that PayPal can assist you if something goes wrong.

4. Conduct all business in the thread, with the exception of exchanging personal info. This means that the seller has to say everything in a public manner, where it can be read by any and everyone.

5. If something were to happen, notify any of the admins on this site (ORaNGe, slinkyaroo, mike, or willie) and give them all info you have on the scammer. They have been known to, and have, track down scammers and do unspeakable things to those who are found.

HINT: They are always found.

We got yo' back man! Make sure the seller is following the rules, report em if they're not, and you'll be fine.

Have you been scammed any time soon? Ill be happy to track em down for you :)

Don't be shy, PM me if you have any concerns.
