A good marker Want one

I'm looking for some type of older marker that will be very reliable and never let me down. Plus it would be cool to whip out some old school marker and see what people say.

Any suggestions?

longbarrel nightmares are sexy. I wouldn't know where to find parts for it though if something goes out on you.

I would advise to stay away from the Nightmares. They were well known for leaking. The valve seal would get cut from the back grip frame threads on install, also the pierce pin seal is a square seal which is obsolete. I believe that the valve seals were also a special o-ring from brass eagle which where thicker. The only way you would find these parts is off McarterBrown and even then it would be difficult. They were named nightmares for a reason lol :lol:

try the old guns section on Mcarterbrown or maybe the pump section. They usually go for like $100

Reliable? The Splatmaster I bought in 1988 went 18 years before it needed a rebuild. And I used it a lot.

As far the BE Nightmare goes...I have two, an LB & an SBComp.
There is an old-skool trick to putting those things together. It turns a Nighmare on the workbench into a Nightmare on the field (for the other team).

My favorite for turning heads is the old Sheridan KP-2.
