I made 20 to 40 most weekends.

Though I did enjoy seeing kids have fun.

Yea, i honestly don't care that I don't get paid. I make the field run well, and I get to let kids have fun.

me reffing a crazy event, it was a 7 man where the teams had 60 seconds and a dozen bunkers to arrange them however they wanted on their side of the field, i held the curtain to prevent teams from seeing the other teams layout until the ten second call.
Thomas Taylor was at this event. let me tell you it was a bitch to ref haha. it was a charity event so i reffed for free. i also forgot my elbow pads and their is a cut on my elbow from diving to do a paint check as you can maybe see

not really, most poepl dont as you need serious certifications for it lol

so how do you guys get treated at your feild as a ref?
i get $7.25/hour(minimum wage) free entry and $15 off each case of paint, along with other discounts on items at the proshop
though besides getting paid per hour, its the same as my feild sponsorship package

I make 7.25 and woudnt want to play at the field i work at. Its not really a good field, beginners love it tho.

I ref every time, and I get benefits. I get paint at a good price, free admission and discounts. And the field owners regularly have barbaques, and let us sleep at the field if we want too.

my feild runs APPA tournaments as well as i regularly organize Scenarios for the feild
