Is there anywhere in Tampa that wouldnt be a good idea to move to?

Im looking to possibly move down that way but I have two kids and would like to avoid the shady neighborhoods if you know what I mean.

Thanks in advance

I have not lived in Tampa for many years, but go there at least twice a month for work. I would say there are not "bad" areas in Tampa. The Ybor area has gone up and down with crime issues over the years. It's mainly a bar scene now. As a recommendation, I would tell you to look at the Carrollwood area and Lutz, basically, the north end of Tampa. The schools are great there. Tampa is a nice place to live. The traffic can be an issue, but that's everywhere in Florida. Hope you enjoy your time there.
Now that you are out, I need a beer!

Appreciate the info!

I dealt with traffic in the DC area for three plus years. Only place worse is Ny and I was driving thru at two in the morning!

Again Thanks!

I live in Lutz and it is really nice here! Not only are we close to some sweet beaches but paintball fields are (generally) really good and clean. PS: Blitkrieg (where Mike goes sometimes) is a 20 minute drive at most. Any more questions feel free to ask!Posted Image
