Im looking into maybe an Empire Sniper as my second pump gun (first was a phantom). I do like my Phantom (open class) a lot, so this purchase wont be for a while. So does anybody have any expierence with the Empire Sniper? I really want a smooth pump stroke. I know some say its a luxury, But I really do want a smooth stroke. Also, let me know if you have any other suggestions as far as open class pumps. Thanks for any replies!

It's pretty smooth, but it's no CCM. It is a pretty good shooter, but the AT may need timing when you first get it.

Thanks for the reply, I was looking into maybe a used t2. Would that be a better option for the price?

If you buy a new gun I will be playing with your phantom all the time. I would save for t2 I shot one once and it was pretty sweet

Pretty sure the t2 will be better. But the ability to put a stock class hopper seems nice

A custom-built sniper is always an option. They are fun as hell to build, and can be customized to your liking. Also, the Empire Sniper is a pretty good gun,I shot one at my field and it was pretty smooth. But,IMO,a custom sniper is the way to go.

I know they are the best looking and performing guns save for the best. Or build one but I believe you lose the autotrigger and finding autococker bodies can be challenging but that and a ccm pump kit would be a nice economic option but then again u alrady have a phantom so shoot for the stars and don't look back

You can just buy a pump kit with A/T.And you don't necessarily have to start from the ground up.There are plenty on ebay ready to slap some CCM internals into.

i have an empire sniper and about 6 custom snipers, i would say go for a custom sniper or used sniper, i hardly ever use my empire sniper in comparison. it isn't as smooth or quiet as my customs.

Have you try adding silencers to your custom snipers?

The empire sniper it's pretty nice bang for buck is there. Pretty smooth, not ccm nice but still ok. Not very quiet at all if that turns you off.

Either way, if you buy used it's easy to get your money back when you want to get a CCM

I agree with this, but mine really is relatively quiet.

I think I cranked the reg a bit high, but it was reasonably quiet when I'm not shooting with my hand on pump handle

The Empire Sniper is a great value, it has a nice design, it is made well and comes ready to go with no necessary upgrades. Now I have to say I do not own one. I see a lot at the field and have some friends that have them, no real complaints. Are they as smooth as a CCM-T2, no...but it does not cost like a T2 either.

I am newer to pumping and have a real preference for half-blocks, this marker is based on the Cocker Sniper with the crucial half-block feature. I know some prefer full-blocks, when I ask why, most say they are used to it. If you are not, do not bother with a heavier bulky design that has the bolt of beavertail scratching their lenses.

It comes with nearly everything! Barrel kit, yes. On/Off ASA, yes. Hit-man mod, yes. Clamping feed-neck, yes. Auto-trigger, yes. Dual pump-arms. Drilled pivot trigger, yes. Good regulator, yes. It even come with a stock class feed-tube. No marker for the price has all these features.

Unless you are ready to pay $500+ for a tricked out Sanchez SM-1 or $700 for a tricked out CCM-T2, the $420 Empire Sniper is a great marker.
My Rigs: Dust Black Empire AXE, Nano Feed-neck, Red Critical Axiom Trigger, BOSS V2 Bolt, 14"Deadlywind Fibur Barrel, Dye Rotor Hopper, Critical 45/4500 & 68/4500 Carbon Fiber Tanks with Ninja Regulators. Dust Black CCM T2, 10” Deadlywind Fibur Barrel, Sport Shot 100 Round Hopper, Ninja 13/3000 Tank. Dust Back Sanchez Machine SM-1, CP Shorty Gen 3 Regulator, CP Drop and On/Off, Empire Star Wars Grips, 12” Deadlywind Fibur Barrel, Sport Shot 100 Round Hopper, Ninja 13/3000 Tank.[/size]

seeing as i play with law enforcement and they are totally illegal to own without paperwork and frankly i don't like the risk or just putting a great big toilet paper roll on the end of my barrel... no.

Don't have to be so esoteric about it, it's just $250 bucks and you are good to go. My buddy has one on his MR Replica and works like a charm.
