So im in the market for a G6r and all the G6r's at my local field have all the bells and whistle. All of them have the SLP reg, hush bolt, zero ping hammer, and 4c eyes some but not all have the low pressure poppet. Don't get me wrong they all shoot superbly but is there a justifiable difference from the stock stuff to warrant the extra $200

Nothing needs upgrading on the G6R, the LP poppet is the only thing that helps. you can use Low pressure tank, you dont need SLP. zero ping hammer does nothing unless your gun pings, more of a fix than an upgrade. hush bolt does nothing, 4c eyes only is an upgrade when youre shooting above 20 bps in semi.

4C laser eyes really only help at extremely high rates of fire although they are nice, as you can make sure your eyes are functioning properly at all times just by looking in the breach. You don't "need" and SLP reg however you may blow more reg orings having the normal input pressure of a tank (400-850) psi.

ALL I would get is the pillow bolt and a good o ring kit. Ive got it in my g6r and I havent broke paint. The lp poppet and the slp reg are or upgrades but you should drop your dwell to 4 milseconds witch will get you a few bps more so. Its a great gun out of the box nothing really needed other then an oring kit and the tester for the regs, but thats just me :D

LP poppit and a pillow bolt are great upgrades, not too hot on the techt bolt. The new "Premium" bolt from Bob Long is sick, love the pin. My G6r ping'd, so the zero ping is a good idea. Anything else is preference.

Is the 'Premium' bolt the ballenced pillow bolt with the "hidden" pin?
If so, I just picked one up and its great!

Ok so my best upgrade is not to my gun but to my pressure tester, big ass gauges easy to read and you can set it exactly where you want

Thats not something you can just swap out really and it would be ridiculously expensive.

There shouldnt be anything besides the grip itself changing between the OLED and non OLED.

It costs upwards of 300 dollars to go from 2k11 to 2k12.

You cannot just buy the gripframe and the board. You have to buy the gripframe, the board, and the asa, the bezel, and all the parts on the lower half of the gun.

The plumbing from the 2k11 asa is different from the 2k12 asa.

I know the air paths between the ASA and grips are different, and I believe there was another reason it would be extremely difficult. Someone has had a thread about this same issue before on this site.
