Hey I just received a half-blocked prostock cocker in the mail, and since at the moment all I have is 12 grams from my phantom setup I figured I'd try and use one to test fire my new marker. I used the 12gram changer from the phantom and screwed it into my cocker's ASA. I started hearing what Im sure was a leak and I could hear it loudest down the barrel. This is my first cocker so I don't know much about them quite yet, so I'm just wondering if anyone could offer some insight on my situation.

Thanks, In advance.

Make sure to cock the cocking rod, and if it's cocked and still leaking out the barrel, it might be an issue with the cup seal in the valve.

I didn't cock the cocking rod before airing up so that could be the problem, I'll check later thanks for the quick reply :)

One last thing to try is to put a few drops of oil in the ASA and cycle the gun a bit to work it through. If that still doesn't do anything, then you'll have to take the valve out to get at the cup seal, and that requires a valve tool.

You will need either an autococker valve tool, or, if you have a cocking rod that has the basic hex knob on the end, you can take that off the cocking rod, stick it in a socket head, and use a square head screw driver or a socket wrench with extender to reach down in the body and unscrew the valve. Also, don't forget to unscrew the valve lock nut on the bottom of the frame.
