Soldier of Fortune

Because I figured that was the most bad ass name out there when I first joined up as a newb to mainstream paintball :(

When I realized how stupid it was I just didn't have any ambition to change it.

My buddy Jon was friends with me and my buddy McDowell (my name is McKenzie). He used to call us "Little Irish and Big Irish" since McDowell was a bigger dude then I was. We were also known as the Mick's. However my buddy introduced me to TechPB, and I just sort of ran with the nickname.

I grew up riding BMX, and I was always wheeling and dealing. So one time when I was at Woodward camp I set up this HUGE trade that involved over 30 people, and I had it all lined up before I did the first trade. It was crazy, and took most of the day to complete. When it was done, I had a bunch of happy customers, and a ton of new stuff.

I ended up with a new set of rims, a new frame/fork, some rare tshirts, and tons of stickers. On that day guys started calling me "free" enterprise. As I started the trade with nothing. The name stuck, and for years after that guys called me that. I recently found some old footage from 1990 and threw together a little edit from back in the day on my BMX.

Don't worry, the awesome BMX stunts more than make up for it. ;)

I just realized I never actually explained my name.

My first paintball outing, the team called me panda because they thought the paint would bounce off of my fat, like Kung Fu Panda (just came out). I just put revenge because I felt like it.

Usually my username is "xXhunter47Xx", or some variation of that, but Panda was my nickname in paintball and this is a paintball forum so what the heck.
Give me gunz for my gunz.

I chose this username because it's the same one I had over at PBreview from back in the mid 2000's when that place was still alive. There's really no story behind it to speak of; I was 16 and stupid. I did have a more interesting one from the Lapco forums called ICDragon, which obviously borrowed the acronym from Indian Creek Designs. At the time I was shooting a 2004 BKO, so I found a cool word to tack onto the end of the ICD. Incidentally, that's also my gamer tag on Xbox live.

Mines just a mix of two OLD nick names.

Tiny cause first mech shop I worked at I was the biggest guy there. So naturally the guys just called my TINY.

And back in school days I played alot of football. And kids always said I was like a charging bear. So got the nickname

It means "lazy bastard" (not directly, but in effect) in Norwegian, and I thought it fairly appropriate. I have used it for years, well before TechPB, and it has just kind of become my default. Always makes for good times when you hear it in Norwegian conversation, and you associate it with yourself.

Wait - between your member title and your user name, you mean you don't have "lots of babies" running around this earth? I always figured your name was a manwhore badge of honor, like the paintball equivalent of Ludacris with his Area Codes song.

I'm a huge planet eclipse fan. I love the markers, but none of them are in my budget currently. So for now, I'm just a fanboy (recently I discovered people also interpret PE as "pure energy")
"So, how many feet per second can you get now?"
"You mean balls per second.."
"...Dammit."

Well my username came from the fact that I play soccer. However the only nickname I've ever received in my life is "Germany". However I deemed that lame and not cool enough. So my XBL GT is EOD DeathDealer

EOD- Explosive Ordinance Disposal, the job I'd like to do in the Navy

However, I'm just waiting to get a legit nickname.

One of the first things you learn in EOD school is that they are very superstitious.
Hate to break it to you, but having anything EOD-related associated with you before you earn your crab (be it a T-shirt, poster, or Gamertag), will pretty much guarantee that, by some strange cosmic force, you will fail.

Also, in the EOD world, the movie The Hurt Locker doesn't exist, has never existed, and will never exist. Period.
Remember that.
