Gimmi a sec to find the link and I'll post a solid answer.

EDIT (Note: Not in any weight order):

Inocom Carbon Fiber 68/4500 DOT 14003 .................... 2.03lbs (923 Grams)
Carleton Carbon Fiber 68/4500 DOT-11194....................2.1 lbs (953.4 Grams)
Carleton FiberGlass 68/4500 DOT-11005.......................2.6 lbs (1180.4 Grams)
Catalina Aluminum 47/3000 DOT- 3AL3000...................2.7 lbs (1225.8 Grams)
LUXFER Carbon Fiber 88/3000 DOT 10915....................2.3 lbs (1044.2 Grams)
LUXFER CARBON FIBER 68/4500 DOT 10915...................2.1 lbs (953.4 Grams)
LUXFER CARBON FIBER 45/4500 DOT 10915................... (820.0 Grams)
SCI "white" 68ci 4500psi 08/2005 bottle.......................2.5 lbs (1133.9 Grams)
Carleton Fiberglass 45/4500 DOT 11005........................1.9lbs (861.8 Grams)
stako/ceasair Composite bottle (NOT DOT approved)......1.75lbs (793.8 Grams) --as in NEVER USE

-Taken from p8ntballsteve's thread on the evil site.

Additionally, I do believe that Guerilla Air now uses the Carleton Fiberglass tanks with their Myth regulators. So unless someone has made something lighter than them since I last read that (2-4 months ago), they use both the lightest tanks, and the produce the lightest regulators, combining them to make the flat out lightest complete tanks.

Keep in mind that there is more to tanks than just weight or length. The new trend right now is to have a longer tank or to have the tank mounted to the gun so it is not as close to the gun as was the trend in previous years. Also, I know most brands have good Customer Service and quality, but one of the best companies out there is Crossfire. They make excellent tanks, have low pressure and high pressure regs, and have awesome CS too from what I have read. So keep things like that in mind also.

I think its wierd that the stako is aproved in every other country except the u.s., i couldnt imagine a stako with micro myth..... But the lightest that is DOT approved is a GA 48/45 with myth.

There have been issues with it leaking air THROUGH the body of the tank because of the material it's made from. You sound like you know a bit about it, so I'm guessing you know that, but I think that's why it's not allowed here. I didn't it was even approved outside of the US.

Ya i looked into it a wile back, the inside of the tank is covered in this plastic material that expands as air goes in the tank making it hold more air but become dangerous. I wouldnt use it though because of those leaks, if i were an air system company like GA, Dxs, or cp i would be jumping all over this idea and make it pass DOT because everybody in the market for a tank would get this.

The Stako is insanly lightweight and is approved in Norway atleast. They had a bad batch or something I think, but thats fixed now. Personaly I use Crossfire tank, its lightweight enough for me.

I'm thinking similar, but I guess there might be some sort of patent issue if you tried copying them, at least for now.
