i like under armor baseball cleats, mid tops. they feel like a running shoe on the inside, have good support, nice durable "spikes" that don't wear out, and are fairly cheap, like 50$. i also use Mizuno baseball cleats, but the quality was a lot lower than that of the under armors

soccer cleats like umbro and puma are good options if you want a really light piece of footwear, however i find that cheaper soccer shoes don't hold up very well. if you were to compare 50$ umbro soccer cleats with 50$ under armor baseball cleats the baseball cleats will last you longer. also not that soccer cleats don't have very good ankle support.
if you want to really dig in to everything try some football cleats, they have toe spikes so you can push off and have a lot more control when accelerating into a sprint. but for just an overall good cleat i would reccomend under armor baseball

Baseball cleats or low/mid top football cleats are my recomendations. Go to a sporting goods store and try a few on.

+1

many fields have banned them and wont allow people wearing them.

Look into some Nike Land sharks. They go any where from $25-$45 ish is nothing to pay to keep yourself upright in those slippery rec. Fields.

I really like soccer cleats, something about them being smaller and lighter helps my mentality on the field better than say football cleats or snow/mud boots.
I only play paintball so I can tell dirty jokes.

Nike Land sharks or some nice adidas. Soccer cleats I found to be the best ones for paintball.

Soccer cleats are developed with the thought of stopping and sprinting just like paintball, go with cheaper wilsons or such, there no reason to shell out more than $50 to play paintball with, the only reason cleats will cost more than that is for longer distance cleat configuration, material to grip the ball better, or to protect your foot incase someone steps on it. THATS IT. I would know shelled out $180 for some f50 cleats for football, and use wilsons for paintball

Nike Mercurial vapors are great, however I'd suggest Nike T90s if you want more support.
