When I started playing (2008), electro's without macroline didn't exist as far as I know (except the Mini). So I guess I kinda got used to it that way and now I just can't stand guns that don't have macroline. They just look so weird and "incomplete". Anyone else feel this way too?

I'm kind of there with you. Macroless is cool, but I have no problems with macroline. I've always had it and it never gave me grief. But I do agree that macro less guns look a little incomplete.

I used to used a macroline a lot but ever since i got my axe and g6r, I have trouble going back to macroline. Macroline makes the gun look Old fashioned which isn't horrible but i prefer macrolineless for a cleaner look.

Macroline can be a pain in the booty if you do it wrong, but all the guns I like (read: older guns) use it, so I'm good with it.

It's easier to troubleshoot markers with external macroline. Reason being, you can have the marker aired up with the frame detached, but still plugged up, and able to operate. Which allows you to look at the internals such as the solenoid, manifolds, barbs, qevs, or whatever else is inside the marker that could be causing you any problems.

With macroless markers you can't have the frame off and do this, so you're left guessing when it comes to problems like these. It just makes it somewhat harder to diagnose problem.

That being said, I dont really mind either of them.

Steel braided master race.

Also, you can see through them, but they're air tight. Fucking magic.

What about the Invasion?

It would help if you posted more substance too support to your claim. As far as I knew, you couldn't have the frame off of any macro-less markers too check for internal problems like you can on most macroline markers. I could be wrong though, I've never had an invasion torn apart.

You can take the body off of the trigger frame while aired up on an Alien Invasion.

i don't like dealing with macroline simply because it ALWAYS seems to leak, no matter how clean i cut it... leak, leak leak, and i have a vendetta against macro fittings every since one exploded and sent metal fragments into my finger.

I'm indifferent, I'll use a gun whether it as macro line or not. My current gun is macro-less and it feels fantastic in the hands. But all my previous markers have had macro lines and they have never bugged me.

I'm cool with macro lines as long as I have an out the front ASA. For the most part I can't afford newer macro less markers so I stick with older markers with macros.
