Hey. I've got a TM-15. The other day i aired it up and wanted to run some paint through it. I MADE SURE that my tank was screwed in all the way. Still had lots of air, about 3000 psi. I kicked it into full auto right away, and every shot for about the first... maybe 20 shots pretty much rolled out of my barrel. No, the detents are not fucked, there was a bit of air force behind them. My loader is NOT pushing to hard either. After those 20 shots or so, it seemed to fix itself and started shooting normally. The only thing I can think of that would be wrong here is that is was about -20c outside, but I had only had my gun out for... not even 5 minutes before i started shooting. Not to mention that it was advertised as an all weather marker. Any Ideas as to why this happened?

If it give you any Idea's, this guy has Opposite the problem that I have: http://www.techpb.co...howtopic=178477

I really doubt its drop off. Although it may be a possibility.

I would suggest its cold batteries. At -20 battery power gets reduced. The weird part is after 20 shots it works okay (although you should chrono to confirm). Usually the opposite happens with cold batteries.

Any marker with batteries is succeptable.
Another possibility is a cold spring. After shooting it 20 times, the coil heats up and provides its normal force on the bolt. But thats just speculation.

Take a look at the test i and others have done and feel free to do the test yourself:

Thats an interesting test you have done there. definately a nice read. Inside, I shot the marker ( marker and everything was room temp ), and unfortunately, I got the same results. Even threw in a brand new energizer, but still the same thing. This is very troubling. Any other Ideas?

I dont think the dwell is the problem. If it was, i think i'd be either seeing it consistently, or only for about 2 or 4 shots, not 20, and then going away.

I did, but there is nothing related to the problem I'm having, other than inconsistent velocity, which the solution was to replace the battery - which i did - but that did not help.

I'd try googling tm15 troubleshooting.

I gotta hit the hay, I'll check back tomorrow.

I would try raising the dwell by 3ms. Nothing to lose. And if it fixes your problem, bonus.

What kind of lube you using?

Wow, truly I have failed in the art of regular gun maintenance. I thought I had lubed everything, but I forgot to unscrew the velocity adjuster and lube the poppet. Problem solved, FML. XD<br>
