at SC Village little kids are tuff they take the shoots but when theres more experience players they seperate the begginers with the experience so they could enjoy the day.

I think that all fields should have really high quality FPO. Every time we have nice paint I see people having more fun. (getting hit with something like evil or premium hurts a lot less than cheap paint because it breaks so much easier). I see more repeat players at my field when there first day there there was nice paint.

Should have talked to the refs. CPX does have the surrender rule of 10 feet, and the only time they don't enforce it is during tourneys. Its sad that this happens in our sport, but the reality is that it's going to continue as long as there are idiots out there.

dude no offense and dont call me a pussy because ive gotten hit in almost every place you could imagine, but a new player that just started playing the sport doestnt want to get lit up by some DICK that has no trigger control or just decency to say "surrender" rather then light them up with there ramping gun that ramps to 15 BPS and just unloads on a 10 year old trying to have a good time, nobody wants to play with someone like that.

and was this in hyperball or speedball or airball or what (there is not really bunkering in woods ball all that much)

Shit, maybe I am just old, but I love playing and I love seeing new faces at the field. And I hate seeing people leave for negative reasons. Yes, paintball involves a certain amount of pain fuck it... I hate it when people hurt those that are at a disadvantage. Shooting the kid out is one thing, but that is just something else.

Ah well, make up for one loss by gaining two. We really should be advertising paintball as a genuine sport rather than an activity and enforcing things like this much stronger, like suspending players like that mean kid from the field or even permenent bans from fields for serious stuff. Maybe it's a little harsh, but seriously!
I hope the poor kid is okay and rethinks coming back, maybe if he'd brought friends it could've gone better.

i never bunker someone unless i know them personally . if i cant confirm who it is then i dont even think about it .

i agree this sort of action should be grounds for being banned. young kids are the only future for this sport . im out there every weekend playing taking someone new with me , introducing them to the sport . now im not doing this so some shithead can just destroy all my hard work. we all need to pull together and really let crackdown on these types of people . and dont say if they cant take the pain then they shouldnt be playing.

That is just a STUPID statement. there is no reason why we players cant take it easy on new players. paintball is supposed to be a fun game . lets try to make it fun for everyone.

Ive been bonus balled quite a bit at my field, mostly accidents, but almost everyone at my field is pretty good about not bonus balling people.

though there have been instances where people have gone and got shot and then run up to the player that shot them and open fired on them even though they were out.

mostly it was the new players doing that, but i honestly though it was dumb when the new guy got shot and then he instantly got up and rushed towards the other guy while he was getting shot at

Unfortunately this is true, its a well known fact that paintballers are dicks. Now this may seem harsh, but that kid isn't but a blip on the radar of paintball. No, kids shouldn't have to be the toughest shit on earth to play the sport of paintball. There is no reason for bonus balling someone else they are clearly cheating, or bonus balled someone else. If a young buck gets lit up and starts cry, it's not unexpected, and doesn't mean he isn't fit to play paintball. If you think something is going to hurt, it's going to hurt x10 more than it really does. If a young buck gets hit ONCE, he might say yea that hurt but it wasn't as bad as I expected. If a little kid gets hit 10 times, and feels pain everywhere, x100 more pain than a normal shot, yea he's going to cry and never want to play again. And if you're a true player, you should NEVER think of bonus balling a little kid. The second they fell anything hit them, they're going to call themselves out. Bounce or break, they'll call themselves out just from being jittery and a little scared. There's no need for that.
