Hey i was looking at the Bob Long Marq 7, and was just trying to find out some opinions on it. I have never personally played with one but reading the specs caught my eye.

awesome gat.. I had the rapper. it was quiet like i mean can be compared to DMs. has a little kick but it just tells you you are shooting something. freakin smooth shooting compared to other poppets

Currently i have a 06 Ego, and im planning on getting a new gun and kepping the Ego as my back up gun.

get the rapper over the Marq 7, its the lightest of the Marq series and they all shoot the same

I think the Marq 7 looks better in IMO. Who cares about a few ounces? If you get any of the Marq series, make sure to get one with a QD ram and Pillow bolt. These amazing upgrades allow the Marq to shoot some incredibly brittle paint.

I own a Rapper, solid gun, fits in your hand nicely, pillow bolt is a must, and the high efficiency engine isn't all that necessary unless you are playing at a place where you have to go a distance to fill. If you will be playing on ramping, you really won't need the 4 eyes. But if you enjoy playing semi 4 eyes is a nice thing to have. If you know someone who has one or can get your hands on one for a game of play try it out, if not its sort of a gamble that you may not like the gun. So if you can get your hands on one and enjoy it, buy one, but if you can't, buy something else within your price range that compares to it.
